Arrived yesterday at Bungle Bungle Station Stay at the turn off to the Purnululu National Park. We were initially unsure of our plan and if we could drive ourselves into the park and once here we were convinced to take the group tour via 4WD bus. This was definitely the right choice. The road in was rough with a few water crossings. Tessie Tourareg thanked us and Jarrod enjoyed a break from driving! Needless to say the Bungle Bungles were beautiful. We walked into cathedral gorge a huge circular rock opening extending high in the air and then also through Echidna Chasm where the rock face gets closer and closer together. Unbelievable rock colours and our little mountain goat Tully did a good job hiking throughout the day. Such a remote part of the world, only realty accessible to white man after 1980 so we feel so lucky to be able to see it. Back at camp we enjoyed a great dinner by the huge fire.
