Up early with the change in time but happy to get on the road again. Not much to see today just a stop at a rest area to boil up the kettle then onto Cocklebiddy for lunch. They had a playground and a cafe so we treated ourselves to lunch before driving on. We started the 90 mile straight, 146 km of straight road the longest section in Australia. We were in touch with our traveling friends and agreed on a stop at Baxters about 100kms on and it turned out to be a great free camp. We found firewood and the kids ran around crazy, Tully happy for some company. Abelia, Joel and their 3 kids are travelling for 12mths so we hope to catch up with them a bit as we all head in the same direction. Will spend the next couple of days with them at Fraser Range, our destination for tomorrow, about 200kms away.
