On the road early again, we arrived at Busselton to walk the famous 1.8km jetty. This really was quite amazing only to be improved by the roulettes flying overhead. ANZAC day today, so there were many traffic diversions causing us no end of grief. We eventually made it to Donnybrook after going down a one way street the wrong way and being confronted by a cavalry of horses. Very frustrating at the time but was can laugh about it now. Donnybrook lived up to its expectations, not only is it the home of the apple but also has the biggest free entry playground in Australia. This really was any kids dream and once Tully got over the fact that he had to share it with other kids, we could not drag him away. We camped at the transit park, the name not really doing it justice. A purpose built park for travellers with green grass and perfect amenities. Tully was doing everything in is power to kill us today (his 5am start may have contributed) but we pushed on. With some cider tastings and then a visit to a local orchard to pick up some nice fresh apples. Decided to plan for Perth tomorrow. A couple of days earlier than planned but ready for a decent rest and feeling like we have gotten the most from this part of WA.
