Arrived at Hamelin Station yesterday a farm stay about 100kms from Denham. Drove into Denham and Monkey Mia today for the dolphin experience which was amazing. We arrived at Monkey Mia just after 8:30 and not long after we could see the Dolphins swimming ashore. There were about 6 that came to the feeding and we all stood in knee deep water with them only meters away. After they left we stood on the jetty and could see a turtle swimming in the shallow water. The Dolphins came ashore again and we did a second experience and this time I was lucky enough to be able to feed one. From Monkey Mia we headed into Denham for lunch and then stopped at the Eagle Bluff lookout, a spot with panoramic views across the water. A final stop at Shell beach, another beautiful beach where the sand is covered in tiny shells. Feel like we achieved a lot today so back to Hamelin for a rest and then on the road again to Carnarvon tomorrow.
