The Howlett's Travels
Arrived in Albany yesterday and again were overwhelmed with people and cars! Decided to stay in Middleton Beach, just out of town but a great caravan park right on the beach. The weather has been perfect and the lure of a swimming pool was too much to refuse. Revived after a relaxing day, today we visited the National ANZAC centre and the surrounding Heritage Park. Many of the ships that headed to Galipoli left from Albany and it's amazing to look out to King George Sound and imagine all the ships preparing to head to war. We had lunch at Emu point before coming back to camp to prepare to hit the road again tomorrow. Did have a night out for dinner, a rare luxury these days! Pemberton tomorrow with a stop at the Valley of the Giants.
