Arrived in Exmouth yesterday after struggling with accommodation in Coral Bay. Different story here and we had no problems. The weather is beautiful, a warm 28 degrees during the day and only down to 20 overnight. So we made the most of it and had a swim in the pool. We bought Tully a swimming vest in Perth and he is thriving in the water. Super confident now jumping in and swimming on his own knowing his vest will keep him afloat! As it was Mothers Day yesterday the boys took me out for dinner and my local seafood platter was to die for! Today we had booked a tour on a glass bottom boat. We figured a one hour expedition on the reef was enough for Tully and he really enjoyed looking at the bottom of the ocean. Commenting it was "the best ride of his life". We spotted great coral, coloured fish and a sea turtle during the ride which was really enjoyable. After the boat we went out to the Cape Range National Park. Thinking we might bring the van around to camp a couple of nights but we were put off by the biting bugs and flies. Beaches were beautiful though, typical white sand and turquoise water. Put our feet in at Lakeside Bay before heading up to the lighthouse on our way back to camp. More time for a visit to the local water park and a swim in the pool. So will leave tomorrow and head to a station stay 50kms south before we head inland, happy to be a few days ahead of schedule.
