Hey!
Today I am going to write a special blog entry. Probably, you will hardly recognize it, but you have to read my English skills. If you have troubles you may use www.leo.org or an usual dictionary. Otherwise you are allowed to be mad at me.
The last two weeks my feelings had a rollercoaster trip. Up and down and up and down again. I worked full-time at CinCin, but our takeaway outside was not busy and the City Council ruled instructions which slowed down our business even more. In the end our manager reduced the number of staff numbers at the takeaway. That meant for me that I had to work less, although I wanted to work as much as possible! On my free days I enjoyed my free time with David. We went downtown a few times and had a couple of great hours there. David left our apartment on 15/09/11 for traveling to Northland. While he had a very great time over there, I started working again but on Friday the City revoked the license of our takeaway. That meant for me: I lost my full-time job! CinCin still offers me hours at the weekends, so I can work there part-time at the moment. Because of these bad news I had to search again for a job. Marina, my flat mate, lost her job as well and is working there part-time at the moment, too. We both have been pretty upset of our situation, but we could not change anything. We started looking for new full-time jobs, but we recognized after a short time, that mostly every restaurant hired too many people, because they thought the Rugby World cup would be busier.
Two friends of mine stayed for a one/two nights in my apartment. Dominik, the guy I travelled with in Northland and Coromandel, and Lion and old school mate as well. We saw the rugby game Australia vs. Ireland together in the fan zone (The Cloud). It was pretty funny to see the Irish fans there. Great & crazy people! Lion left after one night for starting his travel, while Domi stayed one more night. He had to leave New Zealand on 19/09/11 for hiding back home.
During the week at I had a few interviews at direct sales companies, but I didn't want to work for them, because it seemed to be very strange I would like to have a constant salary. Besides, I had a try at the Habourside Restaurant on top of CinCIn and they said they want to employ me, but finally they hired someone else, because of my part-time job at their "rival" CinCin. The try was unpaid and I even did not receive some money for the white shirt I had to buy for them! ****! After their refusal and some troubles at CinCin (they send me home after 6 hours) I felt very depressed and so I have been in a bad mood the whole next day. But, Sarah organized a little apartment party (just the three of us) and so we ate so much chocolate, drank cocktails (Captain Bieber) and made fun of Justin Bieber and our Bieber-Panorama (Bieberama - our art project), that I felt better.
The last three days have been pretty relaxed. I looked for work without crazing myself, while enjoying the free time in our apartment. Because of this free time, I started my Bieberama part (the others are finished for nearly a week) and although I am pretty bad in art, it does not look horrible yet. Furthermore, I found a few great games for my netbook and if I am bored I am able to play some strategy games, Pokemon and old Nintendo Games and football manager. If these games get boring, I still have some episodes of How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory! :)
Love,
