St George was not what we thought it would be and we didnt spend long there. We had been told that Beardmore Dam just out of St George was a good place to stay but when we got there there were 'camping prohibited' signs everywhere so off we go down the road. We did take a few photos of the dam before we left.

The next place of interest was Surat (never heard of it). They have a lovely grassy area with BBQs and tables and free toilets all at the Fishing Club and for a gold coin donation only. No bad eh!! I think Allen is going to the Sunday bowls tomorrow and I will enjoy the time to do some reading on my Kinde. I have lost count of the number of books I have read on this trip. Nothing well known or anything, just cheapy books from the Kindle web site.
