This week has been good at school, luckily, I don't think I could of had another week like I did last. I was exhausted, frustrated and tired, although I'm still tired now, I've been on duty this week!
On Monday 2 new headmasters started. Mr Daniel and Mr Edward and we were very pleased to meet them. It's exactly what the school needs, fresh minds, with new ideas of to help Bulenga Modern P/S move foward.
Tuesday, because I was on duty I didn't arrive home until late and this is what Vic said happened when she was washing up..
All of a sudden a chicken had ran into the room, so Vic called Jane for help who replied "Well it's not in my house" and the Mr Omen asked if Vic feared the chicken, with Vic saying she didn't until it started flapping away, so Mr Omen saved poor Victo :)
Sanyu today was very busy, so we left at lunchtime, as all areas were covered.
Found out that the lovely Michael is actually called Robert! Nevermind :)
Joshua is back. I haven't seen him since we started. In my Sanyu Album, he is the little boy with the really big eyes. Anyway, for all of that time he was in hopsital. He's still the same, tiny and fragile but now more clingy.
Francis isn't being adopted now, maybe they pulled out or weren't allowed? But I was asked if I wanted to adopt him - Way too young was my reply!
I forgot to say in my last Blog, Kasubi Tombs burnt down. Maybe it was in the News back home? But it was disasterous here!
The Kasubi Tombs are dubbed The Pyramids of Uganda. It was the biggest thatched building in the world and a World Hertiage Site. They are the tombs of the Buganda Kings.
Yesterday was the mourning day with 1 person killed and 250 hurt as people began to demonstrate. Some blame the President for burning them down.
Either way many people are upset and angry by the events.
Until next week, all my love x x x
