Day 375 (Sunday 14th December 08)

Went off the use the internet once it was open as needed to print some things off. Ended up sending ages in there uploading photos as hadn't done any for a while. Once we were done had some lunch and then made our way further down to Auckland. Ended up in one of the suburbs across the harbour called Devonport. Chilled out for a while and then went to look for a laundrette. Couldn't find one in Devonport so went back into Takapuna for a look. Didn't have any luck so parked up by the beach to chill out. Very windy day! Decided we couldn't be bothered to cook up our baked beans so went and got some fish and chips, yummy! Then ended up chatting to a couple in the car next to us for ages. Luckily they gave us a couple of places to try for parking on the side of the road so ended back up in Devonport for the night.

Day 376 (Monday 15th December 08)

Once we were up went up to the top of North Head to look at the awesome view over Auckland and then up Mount Victoria which again was good. Had some breakfast and then played some backpacker to wait for the rush hour traffic to clear going into Auckland. We then made our way into Auckland to get a couple of things and drove round to Mission Bay. Not very nice weather today so decided to try and find a laundrette again, found it very difficult! Asked someone and they said there was one in Mt Wellington so went off in search of it. Eventually found it and Mark had a haircut whilst we were there. Back to Mission Bay and packed up our bags. Cooked something to eat and then went to find somewhere to stay for our last night on the side of the road.

Day 377 (Tuesday 16th December 08)

Woke up to a much nicer day than yesterday. The sun was breaking through and turned out to be a really nice, hot day. Went back to the campsite that we had stayed in before when we were in Auckland and had a quick chat with Willy and Annie and then went down to our site. Cleaned out the van as much as we could with a cloth and packed everything out. For a nice shower and then made some lunch. Popped out to do a couple of things and hoover out the van and back to the campsite to chill out for our last day. A couple that had been in the campsite since we were there last were leaving so had a couple of drinks and a chat with everyone.
