Day 354 (Sunday 23rd November 08)

Did some more study and had some breakfast. Not a nice day at all, lots of rain! Drove up to Collingwood and out to the Farewell Spit. Luckily it stopped raining a bit once we were out there but could hardly see anything on the drive out there along the mountains. Parked up by the beach and had a wander along. Lots of tiny little mussels all over the beach. Amazing how they were just covering the place. Heated up some soup for lunch and stayed parked up by the beach in the middle of nowhere to do some study. Nice to have some time while its not raining! Decided to make our way back through Collingwood and then back through Motueka and onto Nelson. Managed to get a bit better view through the rain clouds along the mountain drive back. Arrived in Nelson and could soon tell it wasn't one of our favourite places in New Zealand. Made a sandwich and did some study before off in search of somewhere to sleep for the night again!
