Day 351 (Thursday 20th November 08)

Made the most of the internet and power for the morning before we had to be checked out of the campsite. Luckily the day was looking to be a bit nicer! Headed across the country passing through Arthur's Pass. Amazing scenery passing through all the mountains. Stopped in Arthur's Pass to cook up some lunch and had the Keas around us wanting our lunch! Carried along the very scenic drive and luckily the weather had cleared up so some spectacular views. Decided then to carry on our long drive and north up the coast. Stopped in Cheviot to make something to eat and do some study. Waited for it to get dark before we went off to find somewhere to stay that was just out of the town. Ended up going all the way to Kaikoura as couldn't find anywhere along the way. Found a good place to park up by the beach well off the road where there were already some campervans parked up for the night.
