We did a tour of a cane farm between Mackay and Eungella and it was a really interesting tour - we were lucky in that it was just the two families and we could take our time - we learnt all about how it is grown and the life of a cane farmer. Hopefully we will do a tour of a sugar mill and see the other end too - maybe when we are in Mission Beach, there is one near Tully.
