On our way from Emerald to Carnarvon Gorge, Rich swerved around a turtle on the road, we went back and rescued it and put it in the nearest creek-300m away. We are all well, the weather is warming up and the only problem that Cath is having is managing the washing - we have discovered we need to do it in laundromats in bigger towns - we need the industrial washers and dryers. Most caravan parks don't have dryers and the lines are all taken up early with people's sheets and then left all day while they go out - tricky for others like me! With all this fresh air and exercise the food intake has gone up too - so the boys are eating like adults - more trips to the shops are needed, lots of rice and potatoes - good camping staples to pad things out!
