Friday
Second day in Weipa today so a chance to sleep in. It's a 30° forecast so I think the pool will get a workout today. Martin did the final load of washing this morning and an easy morning doing some reading.

We organised the shopping list and went over to Woollies to get the last lot before the tip. Mud Duck sent his car for an oil change and it came back without one of his many aerials. They also told him his fan had some cracks in it so Martin and Mud Duck went to buy another fan while Karen and I enjoyed the pool.

The boys fitted the fan then had a quick shower before we tried for a better sunset photo (last night was a bit overcast). Dinner at the Golf Club tonight and was lovely - Martin had wild barramundi and I had fettuccini marinara. We stayed and watched the football and then went back to camp. It was a hot night and I hardly slept at all. I don't think Martin gets how fearful I am of the whole crocodile thing.
