Between 27th October and 1st November we had a 'holiday' (6 bloody days) for Toussaint, so my parents decided to visit me. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to put pictures of them up, so just another picture of me I guess. This was their breakfast room; it was MENTAL. The man who owned it is a collector of everything so there would be a toy frog next to a zebra hide next to a massive fern. One of the best places I've ever seen.
Unfortunately the weather was pretty rubbish (today we're on red alert) so we ended up going to the cinema twice, but both films were really interesting (Les Marches du Pouvoir and La Couleur de Sentiment). That was when we could even get out of the door- we had to wait for 15 minutes once because the road was a river. On the only really nice day we went to Sète and had a walk along the quay etc. We decided to just have a starter for lunch as we weren't that hungry (apart from dad). However, when our portions came out they were full size (moules frites for dad and I and calamari for mum). There seems to be some sort of problem with portion control in Sète, not that I'm complaining.
I also got my replacement sunglasses for Christmas, so I'm VERY excited (and definitely won't lose them). So much delicious food as well, a special mention to Chez Boris; apart from the fact that I'd been in so many times trying to book a table, when I went in the last time the manager remembered my name, the time and the number of people. Very embarrassing. But nevertheless a good time had by all, only 7 weeks til I get to see them all again!
