It's that time of the year again when every self respecting bargain hunter (such as myself) goes into overdrive: la braderie. It's kind of like a huge sale in almost all shops in town, but also local food producers display their wares on stalls in the Comédie and the streets are lined with stalls selling bric a brac, handmade jewellery etc.

CA and I decided to have a look around and met up with LA and AN for a chocolat chaud, with quite possibly one of the worst waitresses i've ever had. I was doing so well (mainly because The Kooples and Longchamp hadn't reduced anything) but then I saw a beautiful handmade throw for €15, so I broke my resolve to not buy anything I don't need. Unfortunately after that we were wandering around and then I saw Hippy Market had 20% off EVERYTHING. Oh dear. I didn't get too carried away though and came away with 2 jumpers for €20.

In other news I met another boy from my building, LU. After agreeing on the sad state of the kitchen he immediately invited himself over for dinner, demanded to know my room number and then almost pushed me in front of a car as I was leaving. Bloody Italians.
