Welcome to the first day of my trip where i don't have to sit squashed up in a plane!!!!
I woke this morning at 9 am to the sound of house keepers banging on the door yelling out "room service" all good except It said I could check out at 12 pm! So I made big yawning sounds and snored a little and they eventually left! I was still too scared to stay asleep unless they came back through! So I got up skyped tim for a bit then headed out for some food ( had eaten a proper meal since the day before's breakfast!)
I was sent to walk around the neighbourhood to find some breakfast and it was really beautiful! I wasnt used to seeing all of the green grass which was so nice. All of the houses where great too!
They were all big and beautiful, mostly wooden, and unlike Australian houses they were very open. You could see into all of the backyards to the pools and playgrounds. It must be summer holidays because there were kids everywhere.
In fact I have no idea what people so for an income because it seemed like so many people, young old and in-between all where just hanging out at home, or in the park etc. Weird!!!
Have I mentioned before that food is super cheap? Well unhealthy stuff is even cheaper. But most of it looks really gross!
I wondered around for ages just soaking up the sun and looking around. Man it's stinking hot here! I can't even remember how cold Canberra is and I don't want to either!!!
After a walk I got some lunch/ breakfast and sat in a park to eat. Yummo! To tell you the truth I havent bought anything yet from an actual restaurant because in too worried about how much I need to tip!! Also am I suppose to tip the shuttle bus drivers? I have been but i honestly have no idea!! Anyway, I hope i will be able to blog to you while at camp. Fingers crossed there is wireless!
I am now, just about to go back to the hotel to get a shuttle to the airport where I have organized to meet the only other Aussie at my camp! Should be fun!!!

Chris Hot? It's freezing here! The shuttle busses usually just have a jar for tips so you can probably just poke a dollar in (or just pretend to!)
Anne I'm jealous I want to come!
