We awoke a little late, 750, not too bad a night, awake for about an hour. Not decided on what to do I leave it up to Russ as he always wants to please me so, I insist on him making the decision, pool or beach. He chooses beach. So, by 915 we are on the road to Falasarna after stopping at the local, cafe/super market for more of those outstanding Homemade spinach & cheese pies. We can tell he has told his wife how much we like them as she has the biggest smile on her beautiful blushing face.
The “little toe” is quite sore, the “big toe” is doing just fine, that flap of skin which contributed to a pain free Gorge walk is near the end of its life with fresh lily-white skin in its place. I won’t pull it off, I will let it continue to shrivel up and drop off on its own accord.
We head to the far northwest beach which looks rocky and ok for snorkelling, it is where we briefly visited with our friends a few years back by the Ocean Blue Bar.
We borrowed another umbrella from the hotel and off we trot with all, our gear. We set up by the waves and the sea for now is quite calm, it’s around 930 am.
The sand is deep, I still have my Lilo we brought with us, Russ just making use of the pillow of his as he ripped it at the Kedrodasos beach.
We swim and snorkel together as I am a little unsure. The sea bed is rocky as you swim out and we keep swimming for some time before we see any kind of life! Eventually fish appear and we take some photos of each other and the fish of course. After about 45 mins we come back in, feeling a bit chilled. I sit on my Lilo and a burst of air, it has ripped the seams!! Oh well, last day! We eat our hot spinach and cheese pies, coffee and tea in our thermos Costa mugs, perfecto
