First visit to this area really, we only briefly came with our friends after Balos Lagoon day to watch the sunset. I had in my head we would visit all the beaches and thought would start with one on GM’s, the Little Pink Beach as I had read it was good for snorkelling. On the way we called at the supermarket just outside the village near the hotel and bought some Spinach and Cheese Pies. The owner is proud to tell us which Spinach Pies his wife has made and we take a couple.
Arriving at the little beach, it is little for sure, not far from the small port. The sand is pink and soft with small dunes and rugged rocks either side. There is a small sandy pool, a lagoon type and then it opens up a little and then rocks where the waves are crashing.

Did I mention rugged rocks? Yes, I did, can you guess? As I stroll onto the beach in the soft sand I hit a buried rock, a jagged rock, I look down and my little toe, yes, I did it again, my little toe is bleeding! Exact same thing, I catch it and it rips it from the top! Grrrr
