We chilled by the pool until it was time to leave for Iraklion for our evening flight home. Our hosts lent us a hose to wash the car down as it was more red than white from the ride up the mountain!

Spent an hour so in the museum which was great as we had visited a lot of the areas where pieces had been found.

All in all, a fabulous holiday with all our accommodations exceeding our expectations. It's not the cheapest way to book a holiday, DIY but it most definitely gives you the opportunity to tour islands and stay in whatever your budget is for accommodation.
