Lay in which is rare for us, we'll until 0830. Packed backs, picnic made by mR Lowe, lovely Greek salad for me again and fresh bread. We set off Psili Amos beach but when arrived it was a large pebble with sand bay and did not like so we back tracked and found a tiny cove near cape Kournoupia. We snorkelled and ate fresh bread and cheese and onion crisp second breakfast! Only one other couple at the bay. behind us was an unfinished half built Belgium large hotel complex with fabulous graffiti on it. This area is know for its cedar trees and is very picturesque when not facing the abandoned hotel We left the beach as the sky above us turned black and thunder and lightening commence, We stuck it out for half an hour making full us of shower curtain and parasol to protect our bags. As the rain kind of continued and the sky above us looked as if it were to continue we returned to the car. Here we found a few other cars so not sure where they all were.
We stopped off At Faros taverna for a coffee whilst the last of the rain fell. Have to say both our coffees were the worst we had had.
We then headed down through the cedar sand dunes and onto the beach, a beautiful long sweeping bay of Aghia Paraskevi. The water so turquoise and shallow just lovely. After an hour or so we then moved back to our little bay at our bungalow and chilled leaving around 6.
A kite surfer came around for the main beach and got pulled into the bay so he had to get out and walk back around! I snorkelled but no octopus this time.
We ate at Agia Anna at Gorgona the most tasty meatballs we have had for start Mousakka and souvlaki. We nearly didn't go in as it is a large taverna but don't let this out you off the food was amazing.
We walked along the board walk to Banana Beach bar for a coffee and Yes, Mythos for Russ.
