So I wouldn't normally write a blog for the ferry crossing but it was fun so here goes... we was up bright and far too early at 7:00am and ready to go to the ferry terminal, the north island had been a blast but it was time to go discover the south!! We boarded the ferry, chilled out for the first hour then went to the bar...mistake number one! So we all ordered a drink, yes it was only 10am but what the hell! After our first cider/beer we discovered that they served pitchers! Bonus! We actually ended up having a pitcher each, they just flowed far too well! Me and Hannah were quite pissed, discovered the marker pen, drew on each other's faces the all blacks logo and before we knew it, it was time to dis-embark! Harder than you think when your drunk and not listening to the announcements! Well somehow we managed to find our bags and well the Kiwi bus fortunately for us is painted bright green...awesome! Time to meet our new buddies and driver...I'm sure we made an awesome first impression as we got on drunk, decided we needed a wee, delayed the bus and then didn't shut up the whole way to Nelson! Oh and abused the bus driver just a little...
