From Omarama we travelled to Lake Wanaka, it was another gorgeous day, blue skies, mountain backdrops and just another beautiful drive. We stopped on route at a picnic sight and made awesome jam sandwiches!! Aiden had 90% butter 10% jam as normal (hehe)

We arrived at Lake Wanaka which was gorgeous, parked up and walked around a few of the shops before heading to a supermarket to buy supplies for dinner. The campsite which we chose was really nice and had a good BBQ area so we bought sausages etc and cooked our dinner there whilst admiring the views and enjoying a few cheeky ciders!

Later in the evening after dinner had settled we took advantage of the sauna and hot tubs which were also at our campsite. This was really nice and very relaxing! We were both totally chilled and decided to have an another early night ready for the long drive to Dunedin the following morning!

We didn't rush to get up, we took our time, Aiden made us bacon sandwiches (but decided not to offer me one of his sausages which was left over from the night before...Mr Greedy ate them both! So his sandwich was slightly better than mine!! Boooo!!)

After breakfast we packed up the camper and hit the road towards Dunedin ready for the rugby.
