After a very hectic few days in Peru it was time for me to arrive in Santiago, Chile!! I arrived very late, gone midnight so literally just grabbed a cab and headed to my hostel, The Princesa Insolente, and my new home for about 2weeks! The guy who checked me in was very friendly but could obviously see how tired I was! He showed me my room and I just slept for hours! The next morning I met my roomies! Wow so after Nazca we arrived at this cool little oasis in the middle of the desert, and had a picnic by the lake! We did some vital shopping which included the purchases of Vodka and Inka Kola, and prepared ourselves for a night camping amongst the dunes! We were taken into the desert in these super fun buggies! They were awesome! We were just flying over sand dunes, down steep drops back up and over...best fun ever and then we stopped for some sandboarding! ...

We arrived in Nazca just before lunchtime and we upgraded to a room! Those tents are a nightmare to put up and I just wanted a bed! We set up lunch and chilled out on the grass before meeting our guide who was taking us to the Chauchilla cemetery...I hear you ask 'the what?' hmm yes exactly my thoughts and wow it was one freaky place!! It's a pre-Inca cemetery which was first discovered by grave-robbers and all that was left were the mummies that were buried he...

So...up we got at 5am!! hanging!! left Arequipa and made the journey to Puerto Inca! Why did we get up so early? so we could watch the final of Copa America! did I watch it? Nope! We arrived at the beach, set up our tents and there really wasn't anything to do here apart from have a few sociable drinks!
