We left the desert at around 7:30am and drove at full speed back to Bahariya, where we had a quick stop at the hotel, before getting on the bus back to Cairo. A bus we only made by 5 minutes. It was a very noisy ride back, the guy sitting next to me would not stop shouting the entire way and even Disturbed and Korn couldn't block him out.
We got back into Cairo around 3pm and I couldn't be arsed fighting with the taxi drivers, so we took the Metro back, which as usual, was too easy. We got back to the hotel and were welcomed back like old friends and it was nice to be there again. I was in my room for a bit, before going to help Abdul sort out a "Big problem". The big problem, wasn't really that big, but it was about Siobhan's booking, so I didn't mind helping out. I organised our transfer to the airport for the morning, so we could get our flight to Sharm and then we got a cab to the Hilton for Happy Hour.
The Hilton bar was packed, with people watching the world cup and we had dinner there and a few cocktails, before visiting Khan el Khalili as night. It was amazing at night. I really developed a new respect for Tim this evening, his bargaining skills are really good. I bought a few shirts and presents for people back home and finally got my singing camel. Oh wonderful tackiness.
