Wrap Up - Dahab

The Town between the Sea and the desert.

This is a nice place but it's not Sharm, but then again I don't think anything's like Sharm.This is a small town mostly populated by cats, restaurant owners and scuba divers.

There seems to be more hassle here than in Sharm, but there aren't as many tourists, so they haven't learnt that hassling won't get them a sale, where as in Sharm there are hundreds.

The tours here are very much for people who are physically fit and led by the Bedouin who live here.It is important to remember that just because someone has set up a shop, doesn't mean you will get a proper licensed tour provider.

Overall, I've liked it here even though my hotel left a lot to be desired.The toilet in the room leaked and the bed kept falling apart.I also did not appreciate the owner (whom I had not met) coming into my room to fix the bed at 1am brandishing an axe.One the whole I'm looking forward to moving onto Alexandria.
