Williams Lake - my home for so many years! We camped at the Stampede Grounds and used our new screen tent for the first time. Great for trapping bugs inside! We went around town acting like tourists (we are!) and saw the sculptures and murals along with a visit to the Visitor Centre - built by Pioneer Homes of Timber Kings fame. We left Kamloops and headed for Bridge Lake where we visited with sister-in-law Gail and family. She fed us so well! We picked raspberries in her garden then had them for dessert. Yummy!! This morning we went on to 100 Mile House where we stopped at the cemetery to leave flowers for my mum and dad and clear their stones a bit. Well, we did it! We sold our 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house in Duncan on Vancouver Island and are living in our new fifth wheel trailer. All of our furniture and assorted 'stuff' is in a storage facility in Kelowna. We spent a week going back and forth between trailer and locker finalizing what we wanted to have with us as we travel - harder to decide than it sounds!
