On the road again, our luck continued with wildlife sightings. We saw what we think were a cow caribou and calf. They stayed along the edge of the road until the young one darted down the bank to watch from a safer distance. Next came a couple of stone sheep. One posed very nicely before bounding off into the trees.

We also stopped to admire the hoodoos - tall thin pillars of rock left by erosion. We stayed for the next two nights in the Triple G Hideaway RV Park, exploring the area and enjoying some downtime. The office/store/café had an interesting décor with rifles for exterior door handles. Again, we were entertained by the staff as we enjoyed a breakfast burrito.
