Slightly nervous today as we have to face Sydney traffic! Departed Karuah Jetty Park and headed south towards Newcastle. Stopped at a driver reviver stop near the Hawkesbury River and had coffee in the van. I should mention here that of all the dozens of driver reviver stops on this trip, and there’s been a lot, there hasn’t been a single one actually giving out coffee, free or otherwise! Big disappointment! Anyhow, we hit Sydney and thanks to ‘HereWeGo’ navigation app we successfully ended up in Katoomba, Blue Mountains just after lunch! I don’t know how we managed before this navigation stuff existed! We set up at Katoomba Falls Tourist Park which is really well positioned for easy access to walks. (We also discovered that the concrete slab, which is 2 caravans wide, is actually sloping low at the front requiring the use of a jack to lift the A Frame high enough to attach the jockey wheel at such a point that it could lift the front high enough to level the van!) After this we walked along the Prince Henry Clifftop walk to the Three Sisters via Katoomba Falls. The sun was low in the sky and the scenery breathtaking (except for that CABLE CAR!!!!)

Chris Waller I don't think the 'driver reviver' stations in Tassie do free coffee and sausages except during the peak of the holiday season, and then only by the Lions Club. Certainly not done by Roads and Traffic!
