After I wrote yesterdays blog we donned our swimming togs and went (in the dark) to the local artesian bore. The water temp is just over 40degC! Lots of people there and all floodlit. Fantastic! On the road by 8:00am heading for Lightning Ridge via Narrabri and Walgett, a distance of 247 km. It was so dry in most places, especially west of Narrabri. There was an interesting exhibition on at Narrabri on the history of the Sea Container which was housed in several containers. It is amazingly flat out here and very dry.
