A beautiful morning on the Murray as we woke and had breakfast. The kids that were camped with their parents about 100 metres away were already playing cricket. The road out was challenging with lots of large potholes and overhanging branches. Then we relied on Google Maps to get us to Tocumwal however we were directed down some very narrow gravel roads instead of the highway. It was a relief to finally see a sealed road again! Over the state border into N.S.W. and on to Jerilderie where we stopped for coffee. Had a nice walk around the lake before continuing on to Narrandera where we stopped at about 1:30. Got chatting to a Tassie couple before settling at a nice spot near a pond in a free camp area which was fairly popular. There is a nice wetland area nearby which we walked around before dinner. There were huge flocks of Carellas and Cockatoos making quite a racket. Fired up the little fire pit that Kevin J. had given me and we sat and had dinner.
