Today was raining when we woke so getting going took a little longer. On the road by 9:30 which is later than we like but todays drive to Dubbo was only about 120km so no great hurry. On arrival we went to the Western Plains Zoo and had a great afternoon admiring Rhino’s and Giraffe etc. The zoo was large and the animals appeared to have plenty of space which is lovely. Found a nice free camp near the airport where we set up for the night. Lisa stoked up the fire pit and we sat around it until the late hour of 8:30pm!
