Heading further south again today sadly as we really enjoyed this spot (apart from the previously mentioned attempt to wedge the caravan between two trees!).

We chatted for a while to our two campfire buddies from the night before, who we got on well with, before heading off to rejoin the highway again and a drive to Coffs Harbour. Coffs seemed a lot busier than I remember it in 1979 when I was last here although the Big Banana still sat on the side of the highway but stopping in front of it for a photo with the caravan would be impossible I think! My photo collection of ‘Big’ things will be a slow creation I fear. One of Lisa’s cousins, Simon, lives here and we had arranged to visit him in the evening, so after a trip to the bottle shop we walked from the caravan park to their house which was just around the corner. We had a lovely evening with Simon and his wife Jeannine and he even walked us back to the caravan park as there was a shortcut!
