Day 170, 21 December 2012, London (85%) France (15%). That's right - rather like Bill Murray's infamous movie "Ground Hog Day", it is Travel Day (again). Spent the morning convincing 3 tonnes of gear into 1 tonne of luggage. It was also Travel Planning day. Very hard to get our heads around the forthcoming month (one week Club Med, France then 10 days Isle of Skye, Scotland, then 21 days Bulgaria for skiing). So it was no relief at all to be booking train tickets in Peru for June 2013. But at least it's done now. Off to the station later tonight for the ski train to the French Alps. London surprised everyone, particularly us, by putting on a display of actual sunshine today. Can finally understand why the first thing English people do when they arrive in Australia is take off all their clothes and scamper about burning to a crisp. By the by, taxi will be arriving soon - so tired that sitting in a train seat is unlikely to hinder a good night's sleep. Bonjour France and to London - Good night. (PS - Today's picture is the Changing of the Guard from a couple of days ago).
