Barden's Great Aussie Adventure 2015
Leaving the Gibb River Road we went into Derby to look at the low and high tides at the jetty which are the 9th biggest in the world. The jetty has only rails on one side so at low tide it is a strange feeling to look over the edge with the big drop. Watching the gush of water rush in gives a great understanding on how fast the water is moving which it needs to in order to rise approximately 10m in 6 hours.
Matt bought new leaf springs for the caravan and while we had lunch and a play at the park he fitted the new springs under a shady tree.
We stayed about 20min out of Broome at Broome's Gateway. The caravan park is a dust bowl like many others but have friendly staff, very big sites and it's uncrowded.
