Today was our first hot day in about 2 months. It hit 30⁰C but was also quite windy. This was slightly annoying blowing the sand around but did also bring some coolness. Before it got too hot we climbed Frenchman Peak. It is 262m to the summit, has great views to the ocean and has a really nice cave/arch close to the peak which is a huge space. We drove through Esperance for a few supplies and it looks like a really nice town. We will come back and explore in a few days, but for now we headed further east to Cape Le Grand National Park. Driving into Lucky Bay the view is "wow". A mix of deep blue, turquoise and clear water against the white sand looks great. The campsite is being upgraded and looks way behind schedule but once it is complete it will be a great spot. For now though, the camp isn't too ...
