We went exploring the local area today starting with the Hill Top Rd lookout giving nice views over the region. Then we did an 800m loop walk to see the Giant Tingle Tree. This giant red tingle tree is over 300 years old and has a girth of 24m. It was really impressive. This morning with the sun shining is a good morning to check out the views over the coast. We went to Tookulup lookout with the intention of doing the cliff top walk but it was closed due to bushfire damage. 1km up the road was Point D'Entrecasteaux where there were a couple of viewing platfornms open but other walking tracks closed.
