Woke up several times over night as the kids had wriggled out of their sleeping bags and were cold. Instead of pulling their covers back up they rocked and groaned until I got up to do it for them!! In return, I slept in until 830am and then Nick and I sat outside and had a coffee while watching the surfers tackle the waves in front of us. We decided to walk the beach before breakfast as the tide was out and the rock pools all exposed. We all had a lovely time searching for shells and the kids found a special one each they were allowed to keep. The sky threatened rain but it never actually came. We went home for breakfast and then began schoolwork for a couple of hours. We had just about finished when Joerg and Doris appeared to say goodbye. They are now heading to Brisbane as they return to Germany next week. We had coffee together and a walk on the beach before saying goodbye, then it was time for lunch. We had to spend the afternoon driving to Nowra as our Telstra internet dongle seemed to stop working yesterday. Nick tried all the tricks to get it going and in the end put in a call to Telstra who thought the dongle or the SIM where damaged hence the trip to a Telstra outlet. Nick went to Telstra while I took the kids to Woollies and once in the shop the dongle worked perfectly!! We drove all the way home (and explored Vincentia on the way) and back at the van the dongle wouldn't work again. I walk a few steps away from the van and lo and behold it worked!! All that driving for nothing! We have parked right next to a security camera by the camp kitchen and maybe this is blocking our signal. From now on all internet activities have to be done in the camp kitchen! We had a coffee to relieve the frustrations of the afternoon and then took the kids to the park for a climb on a massive spider frame. Once it was dark, Nick made the kids dinner and I made ours and we spent the evening watching a little TV, reading and an early bed for everyone.
