Happy Birthday Poppy Jon xx We were all woken early this morning when Katharine discovered her skate board had been stolen. She had stacked it between Matty and Jonny's skateboards, which had been ignored. She walked all over the caravan park and checked every dustbin but it was gone. We had breakfast and I tidied up while Nick did the dishes. Unfortunately while making our bed I pulled my back and was fairly useless for the rest of the day! We went to the library and spent a couple of hours doing schoolwork. We separated the boys today as the library was busy and we were trying to keep the noise down and they both seemed to do much better. We worked until noon when the library shut and called in to Coles on the way home for dinner. After lunch we were going to drive to Newcastle and explore the town but my back hurt too much to sit for long in the car. Instead we spent an hour or two reading the papers and then went for a long slow walk along the beach. Once home the kids wanted a swim in the pool even though it was absolutely freezing. They lasted about ten minutes before needing a hot shower and then spent the rest of the afternoon riding around the park on their scooters until it got dark. Nick made everyone dinner and then the kids spent the evening watching a movie while we read.
