We packed up, swapped details, and said goodbye to our neighbours and headed towards Kunanurra. We had stacks to do: drop into visitor centre, buy a fan because our aircon isn't being repaired for another week, go shopping at coles, get a coffee, go to the camping store, go to the bottle shop (which doesn't open until 12 noon). It was hilarious, because our neighbours were doing almost the exact same thing, so we kept saying hello and goodbye for about 3 hours, up until we were actually driving out of town at the same time!
We had an eventful toilet stop at Doon Doon Roadhouse on the way - a carload of indigenous men pulled up to get petrol - Daddy was waiting for us to come out of the toilet block, when one guy jumped out of the car and gave him a push. The older driver of the car immediately came over and yelled at his son to get back in the car. Bit of a fright, but no harm done.
We arrived at the Bungle Bungle Caravan Park late afternoon - unfortunately, no powered sites left, so we had to manage without power, which was fine. The park's good - a nice campfire in the evening to look out whilst sitting in the path of a giant air conditioner - the temperature each day is around 38 degrees, so we're feeling it a bit, with no aircon in the van.
