We were woken up by a light plane flying across our van, and the odd helicopter taking off. We left the van and headed to the Bungle Bungles with our bags packed for an overnight stay, - it's about 50km to the Visitor Centre in the Park, and it took us 2 hours to get there, so we were travelling about 25km per hour! We packed up, swapped details, and said goodbye to our neighbours and headed towards Kunanurra. We had stacks to do: drop into visitor centre, buy a fan because our aircon isn't being repaired for another week, go shopping at coles, get a coffee, go to the camping store, go to the bottle shop (which doesn't open until 12 noon).
