A very slow morning today - cold and overcast so we took our time. Eventually around midday we organised ourselves to take a drive out to the Kalbarri Gorges, formed by the Murchison River. Firstly, the Z-bend Gorge lookout: an easy 2.6 km return walk which included some ladders and boulders, so a bit of fun and there was water in the gorge, so it was very pleasant with nice wildflowers along the way.
