We waved goodbye to the Prelc's and just outside the caravan park we drove past the Killarney Heights family that we met 2 days ago at Green's Pool. We had a 490km drive ahead of us today, so left at a reasonable time (ie, after 10am). The road was fairly straight and the beautiful wildflowers are starting to come out, particularly the WA Christmas Tree which has bright orange flowers on medium sized trees.

We stopped at Ravensthorpe for a pleasant lunch at the Ravy Kitchen Cafe and finally arrived at Esperance around 5pm, quickly setup and a little girl walked passed and said "Hi Renee" - turns out Jacinta had spent some time with Renee & Eamon back in Exmouth 3 months ago - amazing! We took a quick drive around the town centre before coming back for an early dinner and night ready to explore Esperance over the next couple of days.
