Day 49! So... There was an earthquake last night. I was rudely awoken at 3am with crazy shaking and a noise like a train was passing right underneath us, and I thought Julie was jumping about on the bunk above me! Haha. We packed up and checked out of our hostel because Lauren had bought us a room by the hotel, and took our bags over to her friends house. We took a bus out to Stern Grove where there was a free festival going on and The Zombies were playing. It was the hippiest place I've ever seen, so San Francisco! We then eventually made it to Golden Gate Park, and walked through it before stopping at a cool brewery for local ales and dinner. We got a window seat so we could watch the sunset over the beach but once again the weather thwarted us and it was too cloudy... We went back to Lauren's friends after this and watched some tv then came out to the airport hotel. L x
