Day 33! We had planned to have another pool day, but it was really cloudy in the morning, so we just went to the jacuzzi for a wee while. We got really good salads for lunch, I am loving all the fresh food in Cali! We went to Fashion Mall after lunch and spent a small fortune, oops! Day 31! Julie and I spent the whole day at the pool at José's apartment, which is amazing!! It has such a great pool, jacuzzi, BBQs at the poolside and an amazing view of the hills. We loved our lazy day. When Jose and his flatmates were finished work we went to Fiesta Island and built a bonfire on the beach. Day 30! We got up and had breakfast in our hotel before leaving for the airport - the hotel had a waffle maker that made waffles in the shape of Texas, it was incredible! When we got to the airport it was an absolute shambles, with confusing signs and rude unhelpful staff. But we made it on to our flight and to San Diego successfully!
