Day 23! Today we had our swamp and plantation tour. We went for breakfast first at the French Marketplace and had a proper southern breakfast - crispy bacon, eggs 'sunny side up', hash browns and a biscuit. It was so good but so much food! First off was the swamp tour, which was so cool! The tour guide had a proper Cajun accent, which I loved. Day 22! Update on the night bus: it was terrible. It was so uncomfortable and cold (apparently they have no control over the A/C) that we got no sleep, and arrived in New Orleans at 6.30am a very grumpy bunch. It was too early to drop our bags off so we wandered around the city looking for a park to sit in, which took us a good while but eventually we found Louis Armstrong park which opened at 7.30.
