Day 7! We got the bus to Atlantic City this morning, as it was going to be a hassle to get straight to Philadelphia from Seaside Heights. I really wasn't that fussed about coming here but I'm so glad we did! There were loads of cool casinos/shopping malls/hotels/restaurants all in the same building. Day 6! First thing we did was go surfing this morning, which was AWESOME! So much fun, and so much better than that one time I did it in Scotland.. We got an instructor each, 3 high school guys who were really good. They all looked like stereotypical surfers, and sounded like them too! A lot of "dude, sweet" and "you guys stoked?" They just took us straight into the sea, which was surprisingly warm but filled with so much slimy seaweed! We got an hour and a half ...

Day 5! We left NYC in the morning to get the bus to Seaside Heights (the location of the tv show Jersey Shore). We walked along the boardwalk beside the beach which is kind of a typical seaside resort, lots of bars and carnival games and rides. Julie was SO excited to see the Shore Store, where the cast worked, and we went on a tour of the house they stayed in.
