We went for a walk around Kings Park in the centre of Perth and had lunch at Cottesloe Beach. We then headed up the coast road an arrived at the Pinnacles at sunset (photo). The Pinnacles are amazinglimestone formations in teh middle of nowhere. We enjoyed running around the Pinnacles and I was pleasantly surprised that you are still allowed so close to these fragile formations.

Yesterday we drove to Perth and had a day of catching up with family and friends. We visited Jeff's cousins John and Linda, saw Kaidan's Penn Friend Lesli, and then spent a lovely evening with Gina, Malcolm, Lillian and Nansen. Thank you to Gina for putting us up for the night!

Last night we camped at Turner CP in Augusta. Today we visited the cape Leeuwin light house, built in 1896. We climbed to the top, 176 steps up the 39m lighthouse. The lense is the original lead crystal dual lense. This cape is where the southern ocean meets the Indian ocean, and you can almost see a line where the 2 currents meet.

Our first sunset across the Indian Ocean! From Augusta we drove through Margaret River, stopping to buy the obligatory bottle of wine, then through Bunbury to Leschenault conservation Park. We set up camp early so the boys could go for a fish. Kaidan was the only one to catch anything - he caught 1 little fish and so we had chicken for dinner. It gets dark about 6pm at the moment. In bed by 8pm! Ps. I can use my right hand fully now but still some lumps.

Today we are leaving the Muirs farm after a lovely relaxing 6 days. The boys have had some driving lessons in the old ute. All the kids have got along really well, playing backyard cricket, playing on the trampoline and scooters and just hanging out. Jeff has been great, helping around the house and farm. A highlight for him is the roast lamb and stickydate pudding that Leanne cooked to say thank-you. Jeff did some work over the past day - I knew a work-free h...
