Monday 14th September - Marseilles

We woke up to the sound of 3 or 4 church bells ringing away to no tune in particular. After another shower, we must be the cleanest people on the planet but are not saving the planet's water, we had homemade fruit salad with the fruit that we purchased last night on our way back to the apartment. It was great.

We just sat there and looked at the view from our 14th storey apartment windows overlooking the Vieux-Port of Marseilles.

We read up on the stuff about Marseilles that we had bought with us and there were two tourist booklets in English on the bookshelf. We decided to go and walk to the tourist information centre at the top of the harbour.
